A lot of people want to know how to earn extra income on Youtube, this was my quest about 3 years ago. I saw a lot of people earning extra cash from home utilizing youtube.com(youtube studio).
Youtube is now a household name in many home and a common place to turn to either to learn, watch a movie or relax. This is not surprising because youtube is one of the most visited website in the world.
More than enough videos is being uploaded every second in different languages across the globe.
There are different ways to earn extra income on youtube with videos though a lot of people as turned it to a full time job and most of them now call themselves youtubers.
So what are the steps involved in earning extra income on youtube?
A. you must have an account on youtube and to open an account it is very simple. If you do not know how to do that just google it or type ‘how to open youtube account’ and a lot of article link or video will pop up, just click on any of the link as shown below and you will be re-directed to the main article and better still you can type the same word on youtube.com and a lot of video will come up on how to go about it. Just click on any of the video link and follow the step one by one.
B. Create a channel: You must have a youtube channel for you to be able to earn on youtube.com and to do that is not difficult and you can search for it on youtube also just type how to create a youtube channel.
ADVISE: You can carve out a niche for yourself, this will help you to be focused and people will know what your channel is all about. For instance, one of my channels deal with FOREX TRADING. You CAN CLICK this link to have a look.
C. Upload a video to you new youtube channel. This can be recorded with your phone, laptop or camera but the
most important thing is that just make sure you video is educative, informative or amusing so that people can watch your video for long and to keep them coming back to your channel for more.
NOTE: Make sure the content of your video is original, avoid using copyrighted materials in your video becauase you will be penalized and that particular video will be deleted from your channel and your youtube account may be deleted. To avoid this issue make sure you read youtube copyright terms and conditions.
D. Publish your video. It is of no use to upload a video on your channel without publishing it. You will see the option either to make it private or public, kindly select public.
Your will not earn a dime if your video is private and no one will be able to watch it except the people that have or you gave that particular video link to.
E. Monetize your videos; Youtube will show ads your video but you will not be paid till you have 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours. This is where the real work is and that was why I said your videos should be educative or funny or interesting so that people will be able to watch your videos for long.
Once you hit these condition and there is no copyright issue, you can request or apply to monetize your videos. It is not automatic.
F, Google Adsense account: To be able to receive money or earn extra income from the impression and clicks generated by your videos, you must have google adsense account. It is a simple steps to do this. If you do not know how, just search for it on youtube.
